Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Actively involved in the strategic sourcing process.
  • Analyze and document options for procurement of materials, goods, and services.
  • Maintain and update vendor database and contact information.
  • Maintain Quotation files for new products using costed Bills of materials.
  • Participate in the Supplier Qualification program.
  • Utilize procurement best practice tools and methods.
  • Constantly Conduct research for new components and suppliers.
  • Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in all supplier relationships.
  • Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
  • Review opportunities for cost reduction, continuous improvement, and business improvements.
  • Adhere to any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, staff, and visitors.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments regarding any pertinent information.
  • Able to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs.
  • Any additional tasks assigned.
Qualification and Skills:
  • Minimum 3-5 Years purchasing experience – previous experience purchasing raw materials and packaging components in the nutritional supplement or food industry preferred.
  • A.A. degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Working Knowledge of ERP systems required.
  • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Analytical with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown.
  • Experience in working closely with suppliers.

The Inventory Analyst will work to maintain and improve the company’s inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine the root cause of issues and address them through effective approaches. This candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, computer skills, ERP experience, and will be able to maintain inventory at an accuracy level of 95% or greater.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process new orders and ensure all relevant customer needs are properly communicated to multiple departments.
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their orders.
  • Advocate customer needs to the company.
  • Manage current customer orders, projects, customer and new product onboarding and change orders.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure that the details for an order are properly captured.
Qualifications:
  • Maintaining and improving the company’s inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine root cause of issues and addressing them through training, Sop changes, etc.
  • Managing the cycle count process at both Mariner and Earl locations, maintain high accuracy levels and generate weekly reports of metrics
  • Issue all materials to batch records in a timely manner. Resolve any discrepancies.
  • Performing regular inventory counts.
  • Perform inventory adjustments in ERP as required
  • Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
  • Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control. Maintain minimum 95% accuracy level
  • Assist in training all warehouse workers in maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating with other workers to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue.
  • Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.
  • Create Standard operating procedures as required
  • Assist in performing Receiving functions in ERP as required
  • Assist in other projects as assigned.
Requirements:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs repairs, installations, and PMs on all plant production equipment.
  • Performs repairs and installations on all plant air conditioning systems.
  • Completes preventive maintenance as assigned.
  • Performs equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Communicates repair functions with production supervisors.
  • Identifies and communicates safety hazards and quality deficiencies to maintenance management.
  • Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack as needed to perform job functions.
  • Knows and complies with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Clean-up as required including, but not limited to, sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal, and pick-up.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Occasional assistance with production needs.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Troubleshooting skills, locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The high degree of technical aptitude and skill to learn the function and repair of plant production equipment.
  • Self-starter able to take direction, problem solves to repair and maintain plant production equipment and systems.
  • Good written and verbal skills with basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Must supply own basic toolsets for both Metric and Standard
EDUCATION:
  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Formal training in one or more of the following: General Industrial Maintenance, Hydraulics, Industrial Electrical Systems, PLC Programming, Industrial Refrigeration, Compressors, Pneumatic.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Three (3) years experience in a production/manufacturing environment working in a maintenance capacity.
  • Mechanical and Electrical experience needed for stationary machinery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential job function requires the routine lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Turning wrenches requiring pulling strength. Ability to safely climb ladders and work overhead. On your feet for long periods of time.
